Telemedicine/Walk-Ins

Virtual visits (telehealth) can be easier to fit into your busy schedule. With telemedicine, depending on your schedule, you may not even have to take leave time from work or arrange for childcare.

Same-day, walk-in services are available; you can walk in anytime during office hours, Monday through Saturday. Meet with a caring, highly skilled specialist who will help you explore the challenges you face and help you determine which mental health treatment and support services are appropriate for your care.

Telemedicine/Walk-Ins

Telemedicine/telepsychiatry is healthcare provided at a distance, usually over the phone or internet. Telepsychiatry is now a mandatory modality as one of the services provided by SOWEGA Autism & Psychiatry. It addresses the enormous treatment gap of psychiatric services globally and will be a permanent component of our healthcare delivery system because of the skewed distribution of psychiatric services.

We will meet and exceed your expectations of telepsychiatry at SOWEGA Autism & Psychiatry. Your interaction with the provider is completely private, secure and HIPPA compliant. The teleconferencing software encrypts all forms of data, including video and audio. If you are not confident in using technology for telehealth services, Call our office and we will make your telehealth appointment as easy as making a phone call.

Although in-person visits are available at SOWEGA Autism & Psychiatry and has several advantages, telepsychiatry is a valuable alternative when in-person visits are unsafe or not feasible. When patients can choose between in-office and virtual appointments, they tend to have a greater degree of continuity of care which leads to optimal outcome.

Walk-Ins

Walk in appointments are for new patients, only. You have the option of making an appointment when you arrive and return at the specified time or stay; as walk-ins are received as first come basis. At SOWEGA Autism & Psychiatry, we opens the door to the concept of mental health support. In that way, it encourages people to seek out the help that is readily available to them.
